Back in 1910 the President of AT&T Theodore Wail quoted: “To better communicate we need a system with a common policy, common purpose and common action, comprehensive, universal, interdependent, intercommunicating like the highway system of the Country, extending from every door to every door, affording electrical communication of every kind, from everyone at every place to everyone at every other place”.
This was probably the very first perception of the tremendous power of a converging media distribution process.
As far as I am concerned I have seen this process gaining ground in over 20 years spent in the television industry. I was so lucky to have the unique opportunity of experiencing on my day to day working activity the transition from the single channel based analog ‘legacy television’ to the new multi channel digital interactive television. But the greatest and most rewarding experience was to do this together with what turned out to be my best asset: you, my existing and future Customers.
What my team and I have learned from you about the process and the evolution of Television is key to the success of our Company. Therefore this website is dedicated to you, it’s our little contribution to the diffusion of a better, more open, more interactive and more useful Television.
